Foot Zone Therapy is a method of treating the physical, mental and emotional features of the body, by applying gentle pressure and therapeutic touch techniques to acupressure points located on the feet. Each point sends a message through the nervous system to the brain to signal change at the corresponding area - system, organ, joint, muscle, bone - down to individual cells.
My joy and passion is sharing the art of slowing down and healing through mindful self-care and bodyworks practices.
I am a Certified Foot Zone Practitioner at Rebalance Foot Zone Therapy in Aberdeen, South Dakota. My interest in foot zone therapy began years ago in searching for relief primarily from plantar fasciitis and body aches. After a few sessions, I not only noticed my feet felt better, but I also noticed my low back didn’t ache.
In addition to being a Foot Zone Practitioner, I have years of study and practice in yoga, sound healing, Reiki, and other holistic tools as methods to treat the whole body.
